The Verb of God |
And because my words shall hiss forth—many of the
Gentiles shall say: A Bible! A
Bible! We have got a Bible, and there
cannot be any more Bible.
(Book of
Mormon | 2 Nephi 29:3)
From Lawrence to Miguel: 2:50am Jun 13
Miguel,
”while there are many moral values shared between Mormons and mainstream Christians, this page focuses on the Bible as the standard of faith, the nature of God as Trinity, and on prayer, scripture and fellowship among orthodox Christians. We avoid political issues and religious literature that do not reflect our belief in the God of History as we know Him.
The only requirements to being a Christian are to surrender our lives to Christ, believe in His death and resurrection as victory over death and sin. But there is but One God, the Alpha and Omega, not a progression toward Godhood through good works and belief. We are "saved by grace, not by works, lest any man shall boast."
Now that I have shared honestly with you (and are praying for you), I wish you the best in the use of your talents. God does love you.”
Blessings--
MIGUEL
Replied:
Thank You Lawrence , I do appreciate your response and
prayer. I likewise have prayed for you and I have desired to give you a comprehensive and truthful answer
from the LORD and not of me. I write lots
of stuff as commanded by my God to transact or negotiate in the affairs of my
Father in Heaven with anything he puts in my mind and in my heart, whether it
makes sense or not to the carnal mind. This he does thru my hand or the fan which is in
his own hand, in order to steer people to repentance, even if it is one soul at
the time. I am so Glad I have reached you and that you were kind enough to
answer back. Most will reject all goodly words without even a look. This is so
that the scriptures are fulfilled which say:
The rod and reproof
give wisdom: but a child left to himself
bringeth his mother to shame. When the wicked are multiplied, transgression
increaseth: but the righteous shall see their fall. Correct thy son, and he
shall give thee rest; yea, he shall give delight unto thy soul.
Where there is no vision, the people perish:
but he that keepeth the law, happy is
he.
A servant
will not be corrected by words: for though he understand he will not answer.
(Old Testament | Proverbs 29:15 - 19)….
And as Paul I also take whatever
means or goodly stratagem necessary without forcing anyone to influence them or
to persuade them just to think about God and to invite them to come unto Christ
in his restored Church in these latter- days. At the end of the day my own
words will vanish and the truth will remain, which are usually the scriptures I
quote or rewrite.
Not in haste. I write to answer
you, to communicate to you that I indeed share your core beliefs concerning the
atonement, death and resurrection of our LORD Jesus Christ. I also share the
belief that we are not saved by works, but by the grace and the mercy of God,
but only after we have done the best we can as our part of the deal or covenant.
And last but not least, I share the
belief concerning the trinity of heaven, that our Father in heaven or Elohim, that
Jehovah or our Lord Jesus Christ; and that Michael or the Holy Ghost, are as
one; or that they are One Eternal God
united in one single purpose which is to bring about the Immortality and
Eternal life of man.
For behold, this is my work and my glory—to bring
to pass the immortality and eternal life of man.
(Pearl
of Great Price | Moses 1:39)
It is also understood that you or
your faith do not mingle with the secular affairs of men or politics; and that
you also avoid material that is not in accord with your beliefs. I do not know about others, but I myself follow
the counsel of the LORD in which he says thru Paul to the Thessalonians saints in
his epistles, to preach in a godly manner to those who are lacking in faith and
search or prove all things and retain or hold fast to that which is good.
Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
(New
Testament | 1 Thessalonians 5:21)
Creator of Heaven and Earths |
For all things that are good
come from Jesus Christ, the Eternal Father and Creator of heavens and earths. I especially write those things pleasing to God, or those things that persuades the children of men to believe in him and to be
Christ like in words and in deeds. For the LORD is pleased in truth, justice, faith and mercy.
The LORD Jesus Christ is whom we emulate for he is our sovereign example; and the works he did we also do to the best of our talents, spiritual gifts and abilities. And the works that we do are not the kind to boast about but the works that he requires from us such as exercising faith in Christ for repentance, and to be baptized by immersion for the remission of sins; and of the reception of the Holy Ghost by the lying of hands under those in authority before God, Angels and these witnesses, until we receive the baptism of fire and of the Holy Gshot, thru obedience to the holy commandments and persevering in faithfulness to the end of our lives. Because faith without work is dead faith; and the first fruits of faith are precisely the works I just mentioned above, without which regardless o grace and mercy we cannot be saved in this world or in the world to come. And this is so because God came not to save us in our sins but from our sins. Therefore, it must take necessarily an effort in our part to show our faith to him according to the dictates of the Holy Spirit, which is the one that manifest unto us the mind and works we do in Christ. And he commands us to obey and do his commandments.

But God hath
revealed them unto us by his Spirit:
for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man
knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but
the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the
spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to
us of God. Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom
teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with
spiritual. But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God:
for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned. But he that is
spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man. For who hath
known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.
(New
Testament | 1 Corinthians 2:10 - 16)
This is why Paul said to many
carnally minded hearers that boasted to believe in God, but couldn’t prove it
thru real faith or works. Therefore, you show me your faith by your words and I
will show you mine by my works, for faith alone without works is dead faith.
And the scriptures that you so much claim to believe do not allow me to lie,
for f this it is written:
Even so faith, if it
hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and
I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew thee my
faith by my works. Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the
devils also believe, and tremble. But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith
without works is dead?
(New Testament | James 2:17 - 20)
Now, other than that, you are
perhaps mistaken about the true and exact character of salvation to which you
may be referring to. For there is a type of salvation which is called
immortality and the other one is called Eternal life. Both mean to live forever, for all who are born, all
who have been born and all who will yet be born in a world like this or upon an earth, must die
and resurrect regardless of works, creed or belief. And that is indeed a form
of salvation from the grasp of physical death, which was consumed in Christ thru
his blood and death in the Cross.
Unfortunately, there are two types of death, the worst of which is the spiritual death or commonly known as hell. It is a pace prepared as furnace of molten lava and brimstone to which sinful and unrepentnat men and women are eternally consigned to succumb, to be dismmbered and to suffer eternal deaths or the wrath and eternal punishment of God. I myslef have seen it. But know this, that one thing is to resurrect and to live forever in some other place away from the presence of God without ever knowing him. Those just know about God historically as you have mentioned it. Therefore, it is better tho know God than just to know about him.
And another thing it is to live forever in the express presence of God with him in a kigdom of Glory in heaven. So, whatsoever, you are selling or preaching to your followers is indeed a free type of salvation and you are being paid for it; therefore unless you speedily repent and emnd yourways, your reward isassured. You indeed do not need to believe, lift a finger or utter a single word of faith to obtain immortality or the resurrection, for this precise purpose Christ died on the Cross to subject all things unto himself; IT IS A FREE GIFT to all living things that die, that have died and that will yet die. For as it is written above; that Death entered by one man, and it reigned until the resurection of Christ in whom all shall things that died be made alive again.
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
(New Testament | Romans 5:12)
If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable. But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead. For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
(New Testament | 1 Corinthians 15:19 - 22)

And if you preach or adhere to
Christ teachings or not, unless you lay down below a tree from the moment of
birth until the moment you die, regardless of that, you are still doing works
or failing to do them by committing sins of omission or failure to do that which is good when known and understood. Therefore, whether your works are
good or bad you are doing something or failing to do something. And by those works we are all going to be judged at the last day. Therefore, contrary to your beliefes, the truth makes manifest that works are very important in our Christian livelyhood. And the end result is a kingdom of Glory of heaven which there are three
types of heaven as Paul dissected or spiritually discerned them.
And there are also kingdoms which are not of Glory, or of utter and outer darkness where the sons of perdition
and the usurpers of divine authority go to exist in an eternal viscious cycle where there is no light and truth nor progress at all. And in all things God works, for they bear
witness of him. For this is the work and
Glory to God to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man and he is
worshipped and honored by those who obey him and serve him diligently and faithfully to the
similitude of his only begotten son, even Jesus Christ, in whom he is well
pleased.
The Compass of Salvation |
But God giveth it a
body as it hath pleased him, and to every seed his own body. All flesh is not the same flesh: but there is one kind of flesh of men, another flesh of beasts, another of fishes, and another of birds. There are also celestial bodies, and
bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of
the terrestrial is another. There is one glory of the sun, and
another glory of the moon, and another glory of the stars: for one star differeth from another star in glory.
(New
Testament | 1 Corinthians 15:38 - 41)
Now the sacrifice the LORD made
in the Garden of Gethsemane , where he suffered the most
and shed blood by every pore as a result of the agony of our our sins, there is where he paid
for our sins, thru which we can attain Eternal Life in the express presence of
God in the Celestial kigdom or in the highest kigdom of Glory. And that is a gift also, but it is not entirely free at all. It is only freely available
to all who will receive it. But only as thru the conditions of repentance to satisfy the demands of justice by the Laws God has given us. And by the law no flesh is justified. Therefore, as long as there is time if
it is that we repent from our sins and conduct all required works of
righteousness. Only then God can fill up the measure of our short comings to justify us in righteosuness. For no one comes to the Father, except thru the Son and no one comes to the son except thru the word of God or the Holy Ghost sent to bear wtiness of the father, and of the son and of the truth of all things. Only then, in the glory of his presence, the second death will have no power over us at the great and last day of Judgement. And this is why we aim at the Glory of the Sun and not of the lesser kigdoms of Glory as the terrestrial where the presence of the Father is not known; but of the son olnly and of the Holy Ghost. Or evena lower degree of Glory as the teleastial where the presence of the son is not felt, but that of the Holy Gshot Only, as in this our world, for they did not subject themselves to the commandments and laws of God while on their probationary state here on earth.
And men are
instructed sufficiently that they know good from evil. And the law is given unto men. And by the law no flesh is justified; or, by
the law men are cut off. Yea, by the
temporal law they were cut off; and also, by the spiritual law they perish from
that which is good, and become miserable forever. Wherefore, redemption cometh
in and through the Holy Messiah; for he is full of grace and truth.
And thus he shall bring salvation to all those who shall believe on his name; this being the intent of this last sacrifice, to bring about the bowels of mercy, which overpowereth justice, and bringeth about means unto men that they may have faith unto repentance. And thus mercy can satisfy the demands of justice, and encircles them in the arms of safety, while he that exercises no faith unto repentance is exposed to the whole law of the demands of justice; therefore only unto him that has faith unto repentance is brought about the great and eternal plan of redemption.
Therefore baptism and the other works athat come before and after it are a solemn covenant of obedience to him and in rerun if we do what he says, by his grace and mercy he will justify us. And even though, except Christ, we have fallen short of the Glory of God, we can attain perfection with the help of the Holy Ghost to work our salvation with fear and trembling until we attain the likeness and the stature of Christ. For he said both before he died and after he resurrected be ye therefore perfect as your father who is in heaven is perfect.
And God saw these souls that they were good, and he stood in the midst of them, and he said: These I will make my rulers; for he stood among those that were spirits, and he saw that they were good; and he said unto me: Abraham, thou art one of them; thou wast chosen before thou wast born. And there stood one among them that was like unto God, and he said unto those who were with him: We will go down, for there is space there, and we will take of these materials, and we will make an earth whereon these may dwell; And we will prove them herewith, to see if they will do all things whatsoever the Lord their God shall command them; And they who keep their first estate shall be added upon; and they who keep not their first estate shall not have glory in the same kingdom with those who keep their first estate; and they who keep their second estate shall have glory added upon their heads for ever and ever. And the Lord said: Whom shall I send? And one answered like unto the Son of Man: Here am I, send me. And another answered and said: Here am I, send me. And the Lord said: I will send the first. And the second was angry, and kept not his first estate; and, at that day, many followed after him.
(Pearl of Great Price | Abraham 3:23 - 28)
I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day. Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.
Likewise also these filthy dreamers defile the flesh, despise dominion, and speak evil of dignities.
Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
But these speak evil of those things which they know not: but what they know naturally, as brute beasts, in those things they corrupt themselves.
Woe unto them! for they have gone in the way of Cain, and ran greedily after the error of Balaam for reward, and perished in the gainsaying of Core.
These are spots in your feasts of charity, when they feast with you, feeding themselves without fear: clouds they are without water, carried about of winds; trees whose fruit withereth, without fruit, twice dead, plucked up by the roots; Raging waves of the sea, foaming out their own shame; wandering stars, to whom is reserved the blackness of darkness for ever.
And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.
These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men's persons in admiration because of advantage.
But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen.
(New Testament | Jude 1:5 - 25)
Behold, he
offereth himself a sacrifice for sin, to answer the ends of the law, unto all
those who have a broken heart and a contrite spirit; and unto none else can the
ends of the law be answered.
Wherefore, how great
the importance to make these things known unto the inhabitants of the earth,
that they may know that there is no flesh that can dwell in the presence of
God, save it be through the merits, and mercy, and grace of the Holy Messiah,
who layeth down his life according to the flesh, and taketh it again by the
power of the Spirit, that he may bring to pass the resurrection of the dead, being
the first that should rise.
(Book of Mormon | 2 Nephi 2:5 - 8)
And thus he shall bring salvation to all those who shall believe on his name; this being the intent of this last sacrifice, to bring about the bowels of mercy, which overpowereth justice, and bringeth about means unto men that they may have faith unto repentance. And thus mercy can satisfy the demands of justice, and encircles them in the arms of safety, while he that exercises no faith unto repentance is exposed to the whole law of the demands of justice; therefore only unto him that has faith unto repentance is brought about the great and eternal plan of redemption.
Therefore may God
grant unto you, my brethren, that ye may begin to exercise your faith unto
repentance, that ye begin to call upon his holy name, that he would have mercy
upon you; Yea, cry unto him for mercy; for he is mighty to save. Yea, humble
yourselves, and continue in prayer unto him. Cry unto him when ye are in your
fields, yea, over all your flocks. Cry unto him in your houses, yea, over all
your household, both morning, mid–day, and evening. Yea, cry unto him against
the power of your enemies. Yea, cry unto him against the devil, who is an enemy
to all righteousness. Cry unto him over the crops of your fields, that ye may
prosper in them. Cry over the flocks of your fields, that they may increase.
But this is not all;
ye must pour out your souls in your closets, and your secret places, and in
your wilderness. Yea, and when you do not cry unto the Lord, let your hearts be
full, drawn out in prayer unto him continually for your welfare, and also for
the welfare of those who are around you.
And now behold, my
beloved brethren, I say unto you, do not suppose that this is all; for after ye
have done all these things, if ye turn away the needy, and the naked, and visit
not the sick and afflicted, and impart of your substance, if ye have, to those
who stand in need—I say unto you, if ye do not any of these things, behold,
your prayer is vain, and availeth you nothing, and ye are as hypocrites who do
deny the faith.
Therefore, if ye do
not remember to be charitable, ye are as dross, which the refiners do cast out,
(it being of no worth) and is trodden under foot of men. And now, my brethren,
I would that, after ye have received so many witnesses, seeing that the holy
scriptures testify of these things, ye come forth and bring fruit unto
repentance. Yea, I would that ye would come forth and harden not your hearts
any longer; for behold, now is the time and the day of your salvation; and
therefore, if ye will repent and harden not your hearts, immediately shall the
great plan of redemption be brought about unto you.] For behold, this life is
the time for men to prepare to meet God; yea, behold the day of this life is
the day for men to perform their labors.
And now, as I said
unto you before, as ye have had so many witnesses, therefore, I beseech of you
that ye do not procrastinate the day of your repentance until the end; for
after this day of life, which is given us to prepare for eternity, behold, if
we do not improve our time while in this life, then cometh the night of
darkness wherein there can be no labor performed.
Ye cannot say, when
ye are brought to that awful crisis, that I will repent, that I will return to
my God. Nay, ye cannot say this; for
that same spirit which doth possess your bodies at the time that ye go out of
this life, that same spirit will have power to possess your body in that
eternal world. For behold, if ye have procrastinated the day of your repentance
even until death, behold, ye have become subjected to the spirit of the devil,
and he doth seal you his; therefore, the Spirit of the Lord hath withdrawn from
you, and hath no place in you, and the devil hath all power over you; and this
is the final state of the wicked.
And this I know,
because the Lord hath said he dwelleth not in unholy temples, but in the hearts
of the righteous doth he dwell; yea, and he has also said that the righteous
shall sit down in his kingdom, to go no more out; but their garments should be
made white through the blood of the Lamb. And now, my beloved brethren, I
desire that ye should remember these things, and that ye should work out your
salvation with fear before God, and that ye should no more deny the coming of
Christ; That ye contend no more against the Holy Ghost, but that ye receive it,
and take upon you the name of Christ; that ye humble yourselves even to the
dust, and worship God, in whatsoever place ye may be in, in spirit and in
truth; and that ye live in thanksgiving daily, for the many mercies and
blessings which he doth bestow upon you.
Yea, and I also
exhort you, my brethren, that ye be watchful unto prayer continually, that ye
may not be led away by the temptations of the devil, that he may not overpower
you, that ye may not become his subjects at the last day; for behold, he
rewardeth you no good thing. And now my beloved brethren, I would exhort you to
have patience, and that ye bear with all manner of afflictions; that ye do not
revile against those who do cast you out because of your exceeding poverty,
lest ye become sinners like unto them; But that ye have patience, and bear with
those afflictions, with a firm hope that ye shall one day rest from all your
afflictions.
(Book of Mormon | Alma 34:15 - 41)
And he hath power given unto him from the Father to redeem them from their sins because of repentance; therefore he hath sent his angels to declare the tidings of the conditions of repentance, which bringeth unto the power of the Redeemer, unto the salvation of their souls.
(Book of Mormon | Helaman 5:11)
Therefore baptism and the other works athat come before and after it are a solemn covenant of obedience to him and in rerun if we do what he says, by his grace and mercy he will justify us. And even though, except Christ, we have fallen short of the Glory of God, we can attain perfection with the help of the Holy Ghost to work our salvation with fear and trembling until we attain the likeness and the stature of Christ. For he said both before he died and after he resurrected be ye therefore perfect as your father who is in heaven is perfect.
Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which
is in heaven is perfect.
(New
Testament | Matthew 5:48)
Therefore I would that ye should be perfect even
as I, or your Father who is in heaven is perfect.
(Book of
Mormon | 3 Nephi 12:48)
This is why our faith or religion
is not pleasing to all for it requires obedience, faith, effort and sacrifice
in our part. And this is why it is written that many are called but few are
chosen. And why are they not chosen? It is because of Idolatry, or because the most
of the children of men have placed their heart upon the things of this world
and where their heart is so is their God.
So the last shall be
first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.
(New
Testament | Matthew 20:16)
Now the type or Salvation we
preach or sell, is Eternal Life or nothing. It is the type or kind where we can
reach or attain with the help of Christ, the highest heaven or the Celestial
glory; or Zion, the dwelling place of God, even the one that requires faith thru
good works or works of faith, obedience, sacrifice, faithfulness in adhering to
the everlasting gospel or to live a Christ like life regardless of personal
peril and a fully consecrated life for the building up of the kingdom of God on
earth and the establishment of Zion.
I knew a man in
Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or
whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to
the third heaven.
(New
Testament | 2 Corinthians 12:2)
This means that we are not
slothful servants, but that we are always engaged in a good cause, abounding in
works of faith and committed in selfless and charitable service to God and our
fellow men thru works and Christ like sacrifice in order to obtain the unity of
faith and spiritual and material equality as the ancient saints who preceded us
and obtained heaven. It is our duty to God and our fellow man; even our earthly
and eternal goal to continually seek the face of God until his light and
countenance shines in our face; or in other words, we undertake or our quest is
to purify and sanctify ourselves in order to know God; unlike most Christians
that only know about him. And this is why we as the prophets of antiquity preach
day and night starting by the narrow end of the horn to penetrate all sorts of
people, governors, presidents, kings and other powers, dominions and
principalities. And there was not one of them that was not murdered for the
honor and glory of the Kingdom
of God .
The Stick of Judah |
Because Jesus Christ is the Same Yesterday Today and Forever; he
is Great Jehovah of the Old Testament, he is the Messiah of the New Testament, he
is the resurrected God of Israel as he declared by his own voice in the book of
Mormon and he is also the glorified deity as recorded in the book of Revelation
and the Book of the doctrine and covenants.
Christ in America |
Behold, I am Jesus
Christ the Son of God. I created the
heavens and the earth, and all things that in them are. I was with the Father from the beginning. I am in the Father, and the Father in me; and
in me hath the Father glorified his name. I came unto my own, and my own
received me not. And the scriptures
concerning my coming are fulfilled. And as many as have received me, to them
have I given to become the sons of God; and even so will I to as many as shall
believe on my name, for behold, by me redemption cometh, and in me is the law
of Moses fulfilled.
I am the light and
the life of the world. I am Alpha and Omega,
the beginning and the end.And ye shall offer up unto me no more the shedding of
blood; yea, your sacrifices and your burnt offerings shall be done away, for I
will accept none of your sacrifices and your burnt offerings. And ye shall
offer for a sacrifice unto me a broken heart and a contrite spirit. And whoso cometh unto me with a broken heart
and a contrite spirit, him will I baptize with fire and with the Holy Ghost,
even as the Lamanites, because of their faith in me at the time of their
conversion, were baptized with fire and with the Holy Ghost, and they knew it
not. Behold, I have come unto the world to bring redemption unto the world, to
save the world from sin. Therefore, whoso repenteth and cometh unto me as a
little child, him will I receive, for of such is the kingdom of God . Behold, for such I have laid down my life,
and have taken it up again; therefore repent, and come unto me ye ends of the
earth, and be saved.

The Living Christ: The Testimony of the Apostles
The Living Christ |
Therefore, you as well, Lawrence and
followers, if you believe in the whole Bible as you so claim, you would also
believe in the Book of Mormon and the works that follow after it, which as the
prophet Ezequiel prophesied it, they are ONE in our hand. Of which it is
also written and I rewrite it for your profit and instruction.
The word of the LORD
came again unto me, saying, Moreover, thou son of man, take thee one stick, and
write upon it, For Judah, and for the children of Israel his companions: then
take another stick, and write upon it, For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim, and for all the house of Israel his
companions: And join them one to another into one stick; and they shall become
one in thine hand. And when the children of thy people shall speak unto thee,
saying, Wilt thou not shew us what thou meanest
by these?
Sitck of Juda And the Stick of Jospeh |
And David my servant shall
be king over them; and they all shall have one shepherd: they shall also
walk in my judgments, and observe my statutes, and do them. And they shall dwell
in the land that I have given unto Jacob my servant, wherein your fathers have
dwelt; and they shall dwell therein, even
they, and their children, and their children's children for ever: and my
servant David shall be their prince
for ever.
Moreover I will make
a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them:
and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the
midst of them for evermore. My tabernacle also shall be with them: yea, I will
be their God, and they shall be my people. And the heathen shall know that I
the LORD do sanctify Israel ,
when my sanctuary shall be in the midst of them for evermore.
(Old Testament | Ezekiel 37:15 - 28)
For all these works and/or
books that appear strange or uninspired
to you, proceed out of the same source as the bible; without which you can
never get nearer unto God and much less know him as we know and testify of him,
for we see him as he is. And he speaks to us as I AM is now speaking to you on
this day even the following words:
A Bible, A Bible |
And because my
words shall hiss forth—many of the Gentiles shall say: A Bible! A Bible!
We have got a Bible, and there cannot be any more Bible. But thus saith
the Lord God: O fools, they shall have a Bible; and it shall proceed forth from
the Jews, mine ancient covenant people.
And what thank they the Jews for the Bible which they receive from
them? Yea, what do the Gentiles mean? Do they remember the travails, and the
labors, and the pains of the Jews, and their diligence unto me, in bringing
forth salvation unto the Gentiles?
O ye Gentiles,
have ye remembered the Jews, mine ancient covenant people? Nay; but ye have cursed them, and have hated
them, and have not sought to recover them.
But behold, I will return all these things upon your own heads; for I
the Lord have not forgotten my people.
Thou fool, that
shall say: A Bible, we have got a Bible, and we need no more Bible. Have ye obtained a Bible save it were by the
Jews? Know ye not that there are more nations than one? Know ye not that I, the Lord your God, have
created all men, and that I remember those who are upon the isles of the sea;
and that I rule in the heavens above and in the earth beneath; and I bring
forth my word unto the children of men, yea, even upon all the nations of the
earth? Wherefore murmur ye, because that ye shall receive more of my word? Know ye not that the testimony of two nations
is a witness unto you that I am God, that I remember one nation like unto another? Wherefore, I speak the same words unto one
nation like unto another. And when the
two nations shall run together the testimony of the two nations shall run
together also.
And I do this
that I may prove unto many that I am the same yesterday, today, and forever;
and that I speak forth my words according to mine own pleasure. And because that I have spoken one word ye
need not suppose that I cannot speak another; for my work is not yet finished;
neither shall it be until the end of man, neither from that time henceforth and
forever. Wherefore, because that ye have a Bible ye need not suppose that it
contains all my words; neither need ye suppose that I have not caused more to
be written.
For I command all
men, both in the east and in the west, and in the north, and in the south, and
in the islands of the sea, that they shall write the words which I speak unto
them; for out of the books which shall be written I will judge the world, every
man according to their works, according to that which is written. For behold, I
shall speak unto the Jews and they shall write it; and I shall also speak unto
the Nephites and they shall write it; and I shall also speak unto the other
tribes of the house of Israel, which I have led away, and they shall write it;
and I shall also speak unto all nations of the earth and they shall write it.
And it shall come
to pass that the Jews shall have the words of the Nephites, and the Nephites
shall have the words of the Jews; and the Nephites and the Jews shall have the
words of the lost tribes of Israel; and the lost tribes of Israel shall have
the words of the Nephites and the Jews. And it shall come to pass that my
people, which are of the house of Israel , shall be gathered home unto
the lands of their possessions; and my word also shall be gathered in one. And I will show unto them that fight against
my word and against my people, who are of the house of Israel , that I
am God, and that I covenanted with Abraham that I would remember his seed
forever.
(Book of Mormon | 2 Nephi 29:3 - 14)
And he that will
contend against the word of the Lord, let him be accursed; and he that shall
deny these things, let him be accursed; for unto them will I show no greater
things, saith Jesus Christ; for I am he who speaketh.
And at my command
the heavens are opened and are shut; and at my word the earth shall shake; and
at my command the inhabitants thereof shall pass away, even so as by fire.
And he that
believeth not my words believeth not my disciples; and if it so be that I do
not speak, judge ye; for ye shall know that it is I that speaketh, at the last
day. But he that believeth these things which I have spoken, him will I visit
with the manifestations of my Spirit, and he shall know and bear record. For because of my Spirit he shall know that
these things are true; for it persuadeth men to do good.
And whatsoever thing
persuadeth men to do good is of me; for good cometh of none save it be of
me. I am the same that leadeth men to
all good; he that will not believe my words will not believe me—that I am; and
he that will not believe me will not believe the Father who sent me. For behold, I am the Father, I am the light,
and the life, and the truth of the world.
Come unto me, O ye
Gentiles, and I will show unto you the greater things, the knowledge which is
hid up because of unbelief. Come unto me, O ye house of Israel, and it shall be
made manifest unto you how great things the Father hath laid up for you, from
the foundation of the world; and it hath not come unto you, because of
unbelief. Behold, when ye shall rend that veil of unbelief which doth cause you
to remain in your awful state of wickedness, and hardness of heart, and
blindness of mind, then shall the great and marvelous things which have been
hid up from the foundation of the world from you—yea, when ye shall call upon
the Father in my name, with a broken heart and a contrite spirit, then shall ye
know that the Father hath remembered the covenant which he made unto your
fathers, O house of Israel. And then shall my revelations which I have caused
to be written by my servant John be unfolded in the eyes of all the
people. Remember, when ye see these
things, ye shall know that the time is at hand that they shall be made manifest
in very deed.
Therefore, when ye
shall receive this record ye may know that the work of the Father has commenced
upon all the face of the land.
Therefore, repent
all ye ends of the earth, and come unto me, and believe in my gospel, and be
baptized in my name; for he that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but
he that believeth not shall be damned; and signs shall follow them that believe
in my name. And blessed is he that is found faithful unto my name at the last
day, for he shall be lifted up to dwell in the kingdom prepared for him from
the foundation of the world. And behold
it is I that hath spoken it. Amen.
(Book of Mormon | Ether 4:8 - 19)
The Lord has spoken and of this I
bear solemn witness and record. What the LORD says unto one he says unto all.
And these things I say unto you, humbly and solemnly as one heaving authority
in the sacred name of Jesus Christ Amen.
Attentively yours, from an
unworthy servant, witness and disciple in the hands of Christ or a walking ROD
who cries repentance in the wilderness.

A ROD in the hands of CHRIST |
Behold, that which you hear is as the voice of one crying in the wilderness—in the wilderness, because you cannot see him—my voice, because my voice is Spirit; my Spirit is truth; truth abideth and hath no end; and if it be in you it shall abound. And if your eye be single to my glory, your whole bodies shall be filled with light, and there shall be no darkness in you; and that body which is filled with light comprehendeth all things. Therefore, sanctify yourselves that your minds become single to God, and the days will come that you shall see him; for he will unveil his face unto you, and it shall be in his own time, and in his own way, and according to his own will.

Again I say, hearken ye elders of my church, whom I have appointed: Ye are not sent forth to be taught, but to teach the children of men the things which I have put into your hands by the power of my Spirit; And ye are to be taught from on high. Sanctify yourselves and ye shall be endowed with power, that ye may give even as I have spoken. Hearken ye, for, behold, the great day of the Lord is nigh at hand. For the day cometh that the Lord shall utter his voice out of heaven; the heavens shall shake and the earth shall tremble, and the trump of God shall sound both long and loud, and shall say to the sleeping nations: Ye saints arise and live; ye sinners stay and sleep until I shall call again.
ReplyDeleteWherefore gird up your loins lest ye be found among the wicked. Lift up your voices and spare not. Call upon the nations to repent, both old and young, both bond and free, saying: Prepare yourselves for the great day of the Lord;
For if I, who am a man, do lift up my voice and call upon you to repent, and ye hate me, what will ye say when the day cometh when the thunders shall utter their voices from the ends of the earth, speaking to the ears of all that live, saying—Repent, and prepare for the great day of the Lord? Yea, and again, when the lightnings shall streak forth from the east unto the west, and shall utter forth their voices unto all that live, and make the ears of all tingle that hear, saying these words—Repent ye, for the great day of the Lord is come?
ReplyDeleteAnd again, the Lord shall utter his voice out of heaven, saying: Hearken, O ye nations of the earth, and hear the words of that God who made you. O, ye nations of the earth, how often would I have gathered you together as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, but ye would not!
How oft have I called upon you by the mouth of my servants, and by the ministering of angels, and by mine own voice, and by the voice of thunderings, and by the voice of lightnings, and by the voice of tempests, and by the voice of earthquakes, and great hailstorms, and by the voice of famines and pestilences of every kind, and by the great sound of a trump, and by the voice of judgment, and by the voice of mercy all the day long, and by the voice of glory and honor and the riches of eternal life, and would have saved you with an everlasting salvation, but ye would not! Behold, the day has come, when the cup of the wrath of mine indignation is full. Behold, verily I say unto you, that these are the words of the Lord your God.
Wherefore, labor ye, labor ye in my vineyard for the last time—for the last time call upon the inhabitants of the earth. For in mine own due time will I come upon the earth in judgment, and my people shall be redeemed and shall reign with me on earth. For the great Millennium, of which I have spoken by the mouth of my servants, shall come. For Satan shall be bound, and when he is loosed again he shall only reign for a little season, and then cometh the end of the earth. And he that liveth in righteousness shall be changed in the twinkling of an eye, and the earth shall pass away so as by fire. And the wicked shall go away into unquenchable fire, and their end no man knoweth on earth, nor ever shall know, until they come before me in judgment. Hearken ye to these words. Behold, I am Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world. Treasure these things up in your hearts, and let the solemnities of eternity rest upon your minds. Be sober. Keep all my commandments. Even so. Amen.
(Doctrine and Covenants | Section 43:15 - 35)
And there were exceedingly many prophets among us. And the people were a stiffnecked people, hard to understand. And there was nothing save it was exceeding harshness, preaching and prophesying of wars, and contentions, and destructions, and continually reminding them of death, and the duration of eternity, and the judgments and the power of God, and all these things—stirring them up continually to keep them in the fear of the Lord. I say there was nothing short of these things, and exceedingly great plainness of speech, would keep them from going down speedily to destruction. And after this manner do I write concerning them.
