Wherefore murmur ye, because that ye shall receive more of my word?

Zion and Jerusalem, September 9, 2013

Wherefore murmur ye, because that ye shall receive more of my word?

 (Book of Mormon | 2 Nephi 29:8)

Know ye not that the testimony of two nations is a witness unto you that I am God, that I remember one nation like unto another?  Wherefore, I speak the same words unto one nation like unto another.  And when the two nations shall run together the testimony of the two nations shall run together also.

(Book of Mormon | 2 Nephi 29:8)

And because my words shall hiss forth—many of the Gentiles shall say: A Bible!  A Bible!  We have got a Bible, and there cannot be any more Bible.

But thus saith the Lord God: O fools, they shall have a Bible; and it shall proceed forth from the Jews, mine ancient covenant people.  And what thank they the Jews for the Bible which they receive from them?  Yea, what do the Gentiles mean?  Do they remember the travails, and the labors, and the pains of the Jews, and their diligence unto me, in bringing forth salvation unto the Gentiles?

O ye Gentiles, have ye remembered the Jews, mine ancient covenant people?  Nay; but ye have cursed them, and have hated them, and have not sought to recover them.  But behold, I will return all these things upon your own heads; for I the Lord have not forgotten my people.

Thou fool, that shall say: A Bible, we have got a Bible, and we need no more Bible.  Have ye obtained a Bible save it were by the Jews? Know ye not that there are more nations than one?  Know ye not that I, the Lord your God, have created all men, and that I remember those who are upon the isles of the sea; and that I rule in the heavens above and in the earth beneath; and I bring forth my word unto the children of men, yea, even upon all the nations of the earth?

Wherefore murmur ye, because that ye shall receive more of my word?  Know ye not that the testimony of two nations is a witness unto you that I am God, that I remember one nation like unto another?  Wherefore, I speak the same words unto one nation like unto another.  And when the two nations shall run together the testimony of the two nations shall run together also.

And I do this that I may prove unto many that I am the same yesterday, today, and forever; and that I speak forth my words according to mine own pleasure.  And because that I have spoken one word ye need not suppose that I cannot speak another; for my work is not yet finished; neither shall it be until the end of man, neither from that time henceforth and forever.

Wherefore, because that ye have a Bible ye need not suppose that it contains all my words; neither need ye suppose that I have not caused more to be written. For I command all men, both in the east and in the west, and in the north, and in the south, and in the islands of the sea, that they shall write the words which I speak unto them; for out of the books which shall be written I will judge the world, every man according to their works, according to that which is written. For behold, I shall speak unto the Jews and they shall write it; and I shall also speak unto the Nephites and they shall write it; and I shall also speak unto the other tribes of the house of Israel, which I have led away, and they shall write it; and I shall also speak unto all nations of the earth and they shall write it.

And it shall come to pass that the Jews shall have the words of the Nephites, and the Nephites shall have the words of the Jews; and the Nephites and the Jews shall have the words of the lost tribes of Israel; and the lost tribes of Israel shall have the words of the Nephites and the Jews. And it shall come to pass that my people, which are of the house of Israel, shall be gathered home unto the lands of their possessions; and my word also shall be gathered in one.  And I will show unto them that fight against my word and against my people, who are of the house of Israel, that I am God, and that I covenanted with Abraham that I would remember his seed forever.

(Book of Mormon | 2 Nephi 29:3 - 14)

Joseph Lian, an anti-mormon murmured recently and said unto me:

8 We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly; we also believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God.

The 8th Article of faith tells you to doubt God's Word. It states there is only one God.
Abraham 4:3 And they (the Gods) said: Let there be light; and there was light.

The Book of Abraham, one of Joseph Smith's fables that you choose to believe as scripture speaks of Gods, plural and many!

God's Word, The Holy Scriptures, requires you to test the prophets. Read Deuteronomy 13:1If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder, 2 And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them; 3 Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the Lord your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul. Joseph Smith speaks of other Gods.
Isaiah 45:21 Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the Lord? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a Saviour; there is none beside me.

22 Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. 23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.

Isaiah 45:5 I am the Lord, and there is none else, there is no God beside me: I girded thee, though thou hast not known me:6 That they may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is none beside me. I am the Lord, and there is none else.

Isaiah tells us more than once there is no God other than the Creator and Savior, known to the English speaking people as Jesus, to others as Yeshua!

So, is Joseph Smith's claim that there are many Gods a correct statement, or is Isaiah's claim that there is only one God the correct one? They cannot both be correct. Either Joseph is the liar, or our Creator is the liar.

I would ask that you abandon the teachings of the false prophet, Joseph Smith, or remove me from your mailing list and abandon this dialog. Sincerely, Joseph Lian

And I Miguel Angel replied to him and in so doing I think I offended and provoked the devil:

And I said to him boldly:

I see no contradiction at all. It does not affect my faith and hope in Christ. As a son of God I know I can become like him in every which way thru obedience and sacrifice and be justified by grace.  I know who I am, where I come from and where I am going.

But if worse comes to shovel and under penalty of death I must chose between the words of Isaiah, or the entire Bible or Even the Book of Mormon against the words of the Living Prophet, I would choose the words of the Living Prophet who cannot be a prophet unless he has the testimony of Jesus Christ, the father and the creator of heaven and earth. I know that GOD does not lie, nor do his true and living prophets. In other word, my friend. I would chose Joseph Smith and abandon the rest and I would still arrive at the same knowledge or conclusions I have of the Father, and of the son and of the Holy Ghost who are one GOD in purpose but three different persons or that you guys fuse as a trinity.   I know this because I search the scriptures, I pray and fast and I inquire of GOD.

Besides, you know this also that the word of Isaiah did not have much saving effect upon hard headed and stiff necked Jews when Christ came into the world and told them that he is the son of the living GOD. They denied his testimony and crucified him. Nor does the New Testament of the Bible have much effect upon the so called Christianity, because they do not recognize the words of the Living Christ in the Book of Mormon as translated by the power of GOD thru the prophet Joseph Smith.  Again, they denied his testimony and killed him like the ancients killed the Christ and his true apostles.  Joseph Smith is the closest example of Christ like living that I have and all the rest of the prophets are behind him, excepting only the LORD Jesus Christ.

Now,  I already have the words of Isaiah and the Bible and the Book of Mormon and the other standard works of GOD and the testimony of his only true church written in my heart.  My body may be corrupt and also my mind, but my heart is intact.  As far as I am concerned, the world can burn all these things and I still can be saved by giving heed to the words of the Living Prophet whether it is J. Smith or any of his successors.  And if he is taken, I or another will take his place because we are built upon the rock of eternity and we cannot fall nor the gates of hell can prevail against us.  In fact, even if the Bible translation was perfect or in Hebrew, it would not have much saving effect in the unbelievers like you because you are under apostasy or building your faith  under a broke covenant as per the words of Isaiah.

I know and bear witness that God Lives, that Joseph Smith is a true prophet, that the book of Mormon and the church established by his hand is the only true church of GOD. And this testimony I did not receive just by reading pr hearing, but by asking GOD directly and by practicing the gospel unlike most of you that only know about it by reading reasoning with the carnal sensual and devilish mind.

You know the door, you cut yourself off from this site if you want. I already did my work with you. I was sent to declare the word of GOD unto you and you rejected it. I am just here to warn the wicked of their final fate if they reject the truth, but I would prefer them to repent and come unto Christ and be saved by obedience and sacrifice in the commandments, laws and ordinances of the gospel and persevering in good works unto the end.   The choice is all yours and it appears to me that you have made your mind.

And of this I testify in the name of our Master and GOD, the redeemer of the world and the savior of the penitent and true believers, even the saints of GOD even in the sacred name of the GOD of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, even Jesus Christ, amen.
